Professors, senior physicians, patients, family members and other staff are regulars at the daf yomi shiur held in Beilinson Hospital. The shiur is run by Me’orot HaDaf Yomi and it has become a regular hospital function.
Addressing a recent siyum was the hospital’s director, Dr. Boaz Tadmor, who stated, “I have no doubt that the shiur attended by doctors and patients alike contributes to their total ‘refuah’ (recuperation).”
Among the notables attending the siyum was Rav Shimon Solomon, av beis din of Petach Tikvah, Rav Kivlevsky, who heads Me’orot HaDaf Yomi and Rav Yitzchak Rosenberg, the rav of the Clalit kupat cholim (HMO).
