An El Al flight to Munich landed in Bulgaria due to a disruptive passenger. The passenger assaulted a member of the plane’s crew and the cabin crew pushed an emergency notification to notify the captain. The decision was made to land.
Officials reported on Thursday, 7 Sivan 5774 that flight 353 took off from Ben-Gurion International Airport in the morning, heading for Munich, Germany. In the preliminary report to the media airline officials explained that due to a disruptive passenger on board the decision was made to make an unscheduled landing of the Boeing 737 aircraft.
