An Israeli-Arab was murdered and at least four people were injured in a stabbing attack at the Mifratz bus station in Haifa shortly before 10 a.m. on Monday.
The victim was later identified as Hasan Dahamshe, 70, from Kafr Kanna, an Israeli-Arab village in the Galil.
The death of Dahamshe, who was stabbed in his back multiple times, was determined at the scene.
The injured victims, a man and woman in their 30s and a 15-year-old teenager in serious condition, and a woman in her 70s in moderate condition, were treated at the scene and evacuated to Rambam Hospital in the city. According to the hospital, the victims were all treated in the trauma room upon arrival and the critically injured victim, the 15-year-old, was rushed into surgery.
Initial reports said the attack was carried out by two terrorists armed with guns and knives but subsequent reports said that there was one terrorist armed with a knife. Initial reports also said that an armed security guard shot the terrorist and neutralized him.
The terrorist was shot and killed by civilians at the scene. He was later identified as Yitro Shahin, a 20-year-old Druze-Israeli from Shfar’am, an Arab city in northern Israel with a large Druze minority population. He also held German citizenship and in fact, grew up in Germany. According to his relatives, he suffered from mental illness. His uncle told Ynet that at least two members of the family served in the IDF and no one in the family harbors anti-Israel sentiment.
He reportedly traveled to the scene by bus and began stabbing fellow passengers upon arriving at the station. He then disembarked from the bus and continued his stabbing rampage until he was shot and neutralized. A witness to the scene said that the terrorist was shouting ‘Allahu Akbar” as he stabbed people.

These things don’t happen in Boro park. In Israel there are attacks every day. Why. Because you have a government and a Supreme Court that opposes Jewish Torah values. Had they given the death penalty to Arab murderers they would not be freeing hundreds w them for a few hostages. Every Arab country gives the death penalty to murders. Why does Israel try to be more secular than the Europeans. Allowing trans into their army when even Trump banned them from the army. Israeli courts ruled you can’t have any public davening on Yom Kippur with a mechitza between men and women and the lefty Israelis attacked and tore down mechitzas and a few days later came October 7 where the Arab terrorists broke down the Gaza mechitza. It’s scary. Measure for measure. The Supreme Court allows Arabs to be judges but not Chareidim. They want Chareidim in the army but Arabs of course are exempt. That’s why half the doctors in Israel are Arabs as the Jewish Israelis need to spend three years in the army while the Arabs go to medical schools at that age. The whole system is upside down. No Torah no seichel. You need to bring in a half million Asians to work in restaurants,construction and hospitals. We here in Boro park Brooklyn NY have now as our neighboring sunset community over 150 thousand Chinese people. It keeps our community very safe as they don’t bother anyone. You must make serious changes in Israel where Israelis are struggling with parnosah. You have more and more desperate people taking up offers from Iran for a few dollars to do spying. You need to stop building these tall apartment buildings and instead spread out in Judea and Samaria with one or two family houses. Tall buildings are dangerous as rockets can cause hundreds of casualties. Give every Jew a piece of land to build himself a home and in no time you will have millions of Jews building housing on all the vast empty land. Israeli live like sardines with tiny rooms instead of having a nice roomy home with a backyard for kids to play. President Trump offered to remove all the gazans but the government only cares about their weekly checks and free car and driver. It’s sad.
