The body of Rabbi Moshe Talbi HY”D was found at Revavah Junction in Shomron in 2011. He was murdered by a gunshot wound to his head. Authorities were quick to call the death a suicide despite video footage from the Yishuv Revavah security cameras. B’chasdei Hashem, after three years, authorities are now ruling the death was a terror attack, not suicide.
Needless to say the family endured much anguish of the past years, in addition to not receiving any state assistance since the death was not viewed as an act of terror. Only after the family hired its own expert pathologist was Israel Police compelled to reopen the investigation.
Joining the family in condemning the poor performance by police was the Office of the State Comptroller. State Comptroller Justice Yosef Shapira stated police failed to properly investigate the case from the get go. A proper crime scene evaluation and processing of evidence was lacking as the entire matter was handled unprofessionally from beginning to end, clearly signaling police felt it was suicide and investigators did not make the most minimal effort to remain objective and conduct a proper investigation as the situation warranted.

Not a surprise, classic for the Israeli police. They are one of the most racist, bigoted, and unprofessional forces out there. Definitely, not in line for western civilisation, and more in line with third world countries. The list of examples are endless and I’m sure you probably all know most of them so I won’t bother mentioning them.
