The White House says President Bush is canceling a planned Republican fundraiser trip to Alabama and Florida on Thursday to consult with his economic advisers in Washington.
A White House spokesman said late Wednesday that the president will continue to work with his economic advisers on the serious challenges confronting U.S. financial markets. The spokesperson said the health of U.S. financial markets is critical to the nation’s economy and the president remains focused on taking action to stabilize and strengthen the markets and to restore investor confidence.

To #2 I see NBC, NY times etc etc etc (all other liberal promoting news groups) have done their job well.
The reason we have serious, to say the least, challenges confronting US financial markets is BECAUSE of Bush and his “economic advisors”. But I am sure Bush, personally, and his advisors have done very well, financially.
