The Shin Bet and the IDF on Thursday announced that their forces thwarted a planned suicide bombing attack on a bus in Jerusalem.
The members of the cell, Hamas and Fatah terrorists from the Ramallah area, were arrested several months ago.
The cell members constructed an explosive device and planned to remotely detonate it on a bus in Jerusalem.
During the arrest operation, the Shin Bet seized the explosive device and a submachine gun.
Some of the terrorists in the cell also carried out shooting attacks against IDF soldiers in the Shomron in the past year.

Of course now we thank the army.
It’s Jerusalem and close to home for so many chareidim.
But when it comes time to helping out so many of us are only to willing to bash the “tzionim”
It’s time to stop the bashing and time to start showing some hakaras hatov.
They must show hakarat hatov for the protection the lomdei Torah provide the entire country from the Arab states banding together to decimate Israel
this never occurs due to the zechut provided to am yisrael by the lomdei Torah. There is no rational explanation why this phonemonom does not and has never occurred, something which would be catastrophic.
They must show this hakarat hatov to them first, prior to the lomdei Torah reciprocating
