SECURITY/DEFENSE:

*Today, Wednesday, is day 92 of the virtual Gaza ceasefire.

*Today is Gilad Shalit’s 815th day in Hamas captivity.

*Two people injured in a violent exchange of rock-throwing between Jews and Arabs in Jerusalem’s Old City on Tuesday night.

*There were no injuries reported Baruch Hashem in a Tuesday night rock-throwing attack against a Jewish driver near Chevron. The targeted vehicle did sustain damage however.

*Jews on Tuesday night hurled stones at an IDF post near Yad Yair in Shomron. No injuries were reported.

*IDF soldiers involved in counter-terror operations throughout Yehuda and Shomron on Tuesday night arrested 13 suspects.

*Two Arabs sustained light injuries in rock-throwing attacks near Yitzhar. IDF officials report they were transported to a hospital.

POLITICS, DOMESTIC & MORE:

*The bodily remains of 4-year-old Rose Pizem are scheduled to be flown to France on Thursday to her biological father. The flight was to have taken place on Tuesday, but it appears diplomatic complications between Israel and France prevented it from happening.

Following their meeting on Tuesday, PM Olmert and Abu Mazen announced they will meet again following the PA leader’s return from NYC.

*Kadima members go to the polls today, Wednesday, to elect a new party leader.
