The announcement follows an October incident that drew significant public attention. A viral video captured two women being removed from a Spirit Airlines flight after wearing crop tops, leading to accusations of sexism against the airline.
Spirit Airlines has not confirmed whether the incident influenced the timing of the policy’s introduction.

They also will loan passengers who are offended special vision-altering glasses for a similar fee…

Spirit is doing something that makes so much sense! I don’t understand the responses that have a knee jerk negative reaction. Sitting next to a person who has way too much flesh exposed is repulsive even if you are not a member of the opposite sex. Airplanes are very tight quarters and decorous dress should be self-understood. How many nasty allegations have there been leveled against innocent passengers who have found themselves seated next to provocative ppl? and when the response has been ‘you are kinda asking for it”, they are super self righteous in their scanty apparel.
They have become very Spirit-ual.
