“This EPIC ceasefire agreement could have only happened as a result of our Historic Victory in November, as it signaled to the entire World that my Administration would seek Peace and negotiate deals to ensure the safety of all Americans, and our Allies. I am thrilled American and Israeli hostages will be returning home to be reunited with their families and loved ones.
With this deal in place, my National Security team, through the efforts of Special Envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, will continue to work closely with Israel and our Allies to make sure Gaza NEVER again becomes a terrorist safe haven. We will continue promoting PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH throughout the region, as we build upon the momentum of this ceasefire to further expand the Historic Abraham Accords. This is only the beginning of great things to come for America, and indeed, the World!
We have achieved so much without even being in the White House. Just imagine all of the wonderful things that will happen when I return to the White House, and my Administration is fully confirmed, so they can secure more Victories for the United States!”

Bear in mind that all the charedi parties approve this deal without even one objection. Many of us in the USA are upset. And its maddening to know that we somewhat lost this war. But saving lives is more crucial than feelings.
As to the question of what about the next time? I think Das Torah is that we need to worry more about the present especially when we are dealing with so many lives vs just 1 or 2. There is also very little gains at this point by staying in Gaza. We have lost 5 soliders a day over the past week or two rachmana latzlan. Meanwhile, the tunnels and infrastructure are destroyed. Hamas has replenished its forces by recruiting newbies. So whats the gain by staying exactly? Again I get the emotional aspect but logistcially. I think this is all Das Torah and what the rabbonim behind UTJ and Shas are thinking. (Sefardim, Rebas Poskim and Rosh yeshivas on board)
This is an “Epic” Capitulation by Israel. There will be many dead Jews (r’l) because of this.
Chaim,
You make an excellent point
It looks like koifer thinks heโs a Navi (which Iโm grateful heโs not)
It also clearly illustrates the amount of faith Netaniyahu has in Trump. And he is definitely better informed than the heimishe Trumpies
WE NEED CAPITAL PUNISHMENT FOR TERRORISTS SO THEY CAN’T KIDNAP OUR OWN FOR THEIR FREEDOM AGAIN
@Chaim87 with due respect, this has nothing to do with feelings… I am just stepping into the Israeli street when I leave my apartment knowing that there are 3000 more animals in that very Israeli street whom are ready to murder the sonei Yisroel (loshon Sagi Nehor).
I have children walking the streets of Netanya, Beer Sheva, Jerusalem, Petach Tikvah and other places and I am worried. 3000 terrorist animals! Rachmana Litzlan! How can we go ahead with such a deal???
finally peace will reign, let us hope bibi resigns
Chaim
Whose Daas Torah was asked?
No one
The same way no one was asked on how to wage the war. Anyone asked would have fought the war differently without listening to Foreign opinion which obviously wasn’t the case.
This is sickening to even Israelis since we are giving back blood terrorists which is how this started in the first place. Yes we are getting piece by piece and sending an important message to the Arabs who only recognize strength. You can ask what you want from the Israeli government and they will give it.
What a disgusting message from Biden – ‘balancing’ those murdered on Oct 7 with “the many innocent people that were killed in the war that followed” in other words that ‘both sides’ killed innocents
What a sick comparison – SOMEONE please call him out for his moral BANKRUPCY already!!

This is not true. There are exceptions as written in ืฉืืื ืขืจืื.
One of them is ืฉืคืืืช ืืืื which this may cause, like previous hostage agreements did, notably with Yahya “Sin” “war”.
Releasing terrorists in Israel caused 9-11
Terrorists should be shot, not jailed.
33 hostages for 33 terrorists not a thousand
Please read Eyes Upon the Land (available online) and see what giving into international pressure caused.
