It is now obvious that Israel is doing everything to maintain the fragile Gaza cease-fire, with all its shortcomings.
In the late afternoon Kassam rocket attack on Sunday, a rocket landed about 50 meters from a home. One teenager was transported to hospital for treatment of hysteria. Baruch Hashem there was no more serious injuries of fatalities. The rocket landed in the area of the home of Sderot Mayor Eli Moiyal, who added, “it is no longer my problem, but the problem of the government and the military”.
In response, Defense Minister Ehud Barak announced Gaza crossings would remain closed on Monday.
Since the start of the ceasefire in July, 20 Kassam rockets were fired into southern Israel and a similar number of mortar shells.
