The IDF revealed on Tuesday morning that Maj. Dvir Tzion Revach, H’yd, 28, from Jerusalem was killed in northern Gaza on Monday.
Revach, z’l, had previously been wounded during the war but insisted on returning to battle.
He was killed in the same incident as Cpt. Eitan Yisrael Shiknazi, H,yd, 24, from the yishuv of Eli in Binyamin, whose death was announced on Monday evening. Shiknazi, z’l, was the 10th soldier from Eli to be killed in battle. He left behind his wife parents and siblings.
Revach, z’l, served as the company commander of the Nachal Brigade’s 932nd Battalion and Shiknazi was the deputy company commander. They were killed in Beit Hanoun after being struck by an anti-tank missile.
Two other soldiers from the battalion were seriously wounded in the same incident.
