As of 8:00AM Sunday morning, at least five outgoing flights were being delayed at Tel Aviv’s Ben-Gurion International Airport due to a strike by the Aero baggage handling company employees.
The radio news report did not state exactly what it would take to get baggage handlers back to work to permit the take off of the delayed flights.
Airport officials seem to be taking a ‘sit back and watch’ attitude, calling the job action an internal matter.
