Attention NYC: Another 120 New NYPD Traffic Enforcement Agents Graduated Today

t

The New York City Police Department graduated 120 Traffic Enforcement Agents Friday in a ceremony at Police Headquarters. The new agents will be assigned throughout the five boroughs.

Today’s graduates join a force of over 2,500 agents. Traffic Enforcement Agents are uniformed, civilian personnel of the Department whose work includes directing traffic, controlling busy intersections and parking enforcement. They must pass 12 weeks of training prior to being assigned to posts throughout New York City.

  1. Now there will be more parking violations vultures in an already unfair ridiculous environment, with drivers often being forced to walk long distances to and from broken muni-meters to find another meter??? and back to their cars, in severely cold, windy, inclement weather. And sometimes to find their cars already ticketed.
