Jerry Schwartz funded the first donation of 250 units. All wounded soldiers evacuated from the battles in Bint Jbeil and Marun-a-Ras had already received their Ipods. Walter Arbiv, on behalf of the Canadian Jewish Community, funded the second donation of 200 units. The shipment arrived and was handed to representatives of Friends of the IDF. They will be distributed to Navy fighters as well as other wounded soldiers. Each unit is worth about $100. The two Canadian donors did not only send Ipods. Schwartz has donated half a million dollars for fire trucks, air conditioners, food and toys for bomb shelters. Arbiv sponsored day camps for children of Dalton and Shlomi.
