MK (Meretz) Dr. Yossi Beilin announced on Thursday that without Israel agreeing to divide Yerushalayim, there cannot be a peace agreement achieved with the PA (Palestinian Authority). Beilin added that Israel decided to divide Yerushalayim back in 2000, and the decision has yet to be reversed so talk of compromises regarding Jerusalem does not present new facts on the ground.
Beilin stated that anyone stating there will be no compromise regarding the capital is not dealing with reality, stating it is obvious that if Israel is negotiating, it includes future compromise on the capital.
Beilin, who has been in Knesset since 1988, has served in a number of senior posts including foreign minister. In 2000 he was minister of justice and minister of religious affairs.

I have an appropriate job opening for Yossi Beilin. While his privacy wont allow me to give too many details, I can say that that the job is located in Brooklyn and involves working for a car service.
and…. he better hurry, because olmert is applying for the same job.
Do you really him on your streets?
“In 2000 he was minister of justice and minister of religious affairs.” ? ? ? How is this different than appointing a fox to guard a chicken coop? (Perhaps an Agriprocessor chicken coop.)
When one hears the name Yossi Beilin in the same sentence with the words “minister of religious affairs” its hard to know whether to laugh or cry!
And… to commenter #3 (CoffeeKup) -No, i really don’t want him on our streets here, BUT, better he be here that in Eretz Yisrael.
