IDF Strikes Hezbollah and Hamas Targets in Lebanon and Gaza, Eliminating Key Operatives

The IDF intensified their operations in both southern Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, carrying out airstrikes against Hezbollah and Hamas targets over the past week. In a recent operation, the Israeli Air Force (IAF) targeted and eliminated Muhammad Khalil Alian, commander of Hezbollah’s anti-tank missile division in the Hajir arena of the ‘Nasser’ Unit, located in Qalaouiyeh, southern Lebanon.

Over the past 24 hours, approximately 150 Hezbollah and Hamas positions across Lebanon and Gaza were struck. The strikes targeted a range of sites, including command centers, weapons storage locations, observation posts, and rocket launchers that threatened Israeli security. Among these, an IAF aircraft eliminated a Hezbollah cell that had attempted to fire on an IAF aircraft near Mazraat El Yahoudiyeh, north of Tyre; the aircraft escaped unscathed.

IDF ground forces also continued operations in southern Lebanon, focusing on dismantling Hezbollah’s infrastructure. During one mission, troops identified a Hezbollah cell armed with anti-tank missiles operating in a civilian area and directed the IAF to eliminate the threat.

Meanwhile, in the Gaza Strip, IDF troops struck Hamas positions, including dozens of sites in Jabaliya, where weapon storage and other military infrastructure were destroyed. In central Gaza, troops dismantled a weapons production site as part of ongoing operations aimed at neutralizing Hamas’s military capabilities.
