The Israel Police has confirmed that officers from the Yamam counter-terrorism unit killed five Palestinian terrorists in Shechem during an operation in broad daylight earlier today, in a story posted on the YWN Live Blog. Among those killed was a senior operative from the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades.

The Palestinian health ministry reported the deaths of four individuals, while Palestinian news agency WAFA claimed Israeli special forces opened fire on a vehicle carrying the terrorists.

Videos circulating on social media showed intense gunfire surrounding the targeted vehicle.
