Learning from previous years and the realities of so many people arriving in Meron on Lag B’Omer, Ichud Hatzalah has divided Meron into numbered districts.

There are fifty signs from 1-50 posted in the greater Rashbi area. If one must call for emergency assistance, instead of trying to describe one’s location, one simply has to look up and report the number of the nearest sector sign posted by the volunteer EMS organization.

Ichud Officials explain the map they have prepared is given to all emergency services on call for Lag B’Omer and they are confident the numerical districts will simplify locating persons seeking assistance.
