Funerals of soldiers and hostages

To my dear Charedi brothers,

Chaveirim, where are you? Why are we not seeing you at the funerals of the recently murdered hostages? It is still bein ha’zmanim and therefore there isn’t even the excuse of bittul torah.

Why doesn’t every Rosh Yeshiva require their students to participate, to be נושא בעול and with such a small gesture lower the resentment toward the community. I am sure here and there one could see a few chariedim interspersed in the crowd, but why aren’t you out en masse?

Imagine the kiddush haShem your presence would have caused, and inversely, think of the chilul haShem brought about by your absence.

I’m baffled, sad and disappointed.
