Deputy Minister of Religious Services Rabbi Eli Ben-Dahan met with the head of mosdos Ohr Chaim HaGaon HaRav Reuven Elbaz Shlita. The minister was escorted around the yeshiva by the rav, who addressed the issue of the ministry cutting funding to yeshivos nationwide.

The meeting took place on Thursday morning 15 Iyar. Kikar Shabbos reports it has information supporting the report the rosh yeshiva addressed the matter of budget cuts with the deputy minister. Ben-Dahan reportedly stated he would look into it and do his utmost to assist.

Ohr HaChaim mosdos today number over 300 branches throughout Israel.
