UnionPay International, the largest credit card company in the world [regarding number of cards issued], has signed an agreement with Bank Leumi’s LeumiCard credit card. UnionPay has issued 3.8 billion credit cards and after signing the deal, tourists and businesspeople visiting Israel from China will be able to use their UnionPay credit card at establishments accepting LeumiCard.

The 40,000 tourists arriving in Israel annually from China will also be able to withdraw funds from any Bank Leumi ATM.
