BAD NEWS FOR TRUMP: Democrats Are Now Far More Excited Than Republicans To Vote In The Presidential Election

American enthusiasm for the upcoming November elections has notably increased, with a significant boost coming from Democratic voters. According to a newly released Gallup poll, nearly 8 in 10 Democrats reported being “more enthusiastic than usual” about voting.

Gallup’s memo highlights that overall enthusiasm for the election has surged, with 69% of U.S. adults now expressing increased eagerness to vote, up from 54% in March. This increase is particularly pronounced among Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents, whose enthusiasm jumped from 55% in March to 78% in August. In contrast, Republicans and Republican-leaning independents saw a smaller rise, from 59% in March to 64% in the August poll.

The surge in voter enthusiasm, coupled with a heightened focus on the election, suggests that voter participation could potentially exceed 2020 levels. In the last presidential election, two-thirds of eligible U.S. adults cast ballots, marking the highest turnout in over a century.

  1. 1. Trump/MAGA hounding Joe Biden to retire seems to be a classic example of shooting oneself in the foot. Brandon seems to be having the last laugh.

    2. Harris is managing to realize that many of her positions in the past were mistaken, and the DINOs had it right all along. She probably won’t rediscover Progressive/WOKE ideology until the middle the second week in November.

    3. Trump is not even trying to reconnect with the RINOs (the former mainstream Republicans including but not limited to Reagan Republicans and the former Tea Party movement). As long as Trump is limiting his support to MAGA/”America First” he has little chance of winning. A Democrat who is willing to oppose Xi and Putin, and support fiscal sanity (i.e. raising taxes) will appeal to many RINOs regardless of the Democrats preference for co-ed showers. Trump would be better off if he supported budget cuts to reduce deficit spending, a pro-freedom foreign policy based on alliances with democratic and capitalistic countries, and a pro-business agenda in general.

    4. Most Americans are neither MAGA nor WOKE, and the middle between them is what will decide the election.

  2. Not being happy to vote doesn’t actually mean not voting. I’m my opinion the average American was better off financially before Biden was elected and that will be the deciding factor in when the average American votes….
