Officials in an Orange County town in the running for a casino have approved a resolution supporting a local gambling resort.
The New Windsor Town Board on Wednesday approved by a 5-0 vote a resolution backing a local casino.
Alabama-based Greenetrack wants to build a casino on 140 acres at Stewart International Airport, and a resolution in support from the local town is required. The site is a 65-mile drive north from Manhattan.
A state siting board this fall will choose sites for four casino resorts in upstate New York, with two possible in the Hudson Valley and the Catskills. There will be up to 22 casino applicants.

It would be very helpful if I didn’t have to go through half an article to know the place you’re writing about, and that it’s not California. The
same applies to articles about U.S. or Israeli government and only later in the article you can understand which one. Thank you.
#1, according to your theory, there should be no articles, just headlines
So funny how different it is in England, casino’s everywhere!
Re comment no. 1: There are Orange Counties in North Carolina and Florida as well. Your confusion arises from that fact that you know a little something. In fact, the more you know, the harder it is to understand YWN.
