Pelephone subscribers on Wednesday, 14 Iyar 5774 experienced service outages throughout Israel. Subscribers spoke of difficulties making and receiving calls. Company officials spoke of “isolated problems”.
Being that some of the other cellular providers rely on the Pelephone Company infrastructure, they too experienced service outages. This includes Rami Levy and Hot Mobile. They are viewed as virtual providers for they rent the Pelephone infrastructure to service their subscribers.
Hot Mobile outages were less severe because the company does maintain some of its own antennas.
Pelephone announced the problems were in making outgoing calls and not in receiving calls, announcing shortly after 13:00 the problem has been rectified.

Hot Mobile is what used to be MIRS, they only use pelephone in locations that they don’t have coverage of their new network yet, to say they maintain “some” antennas of their own is a gross understatement, they still have the whole CDMA (Mirs) network and they also have their new network.
