Minister of Public Security Yitzchak Aharonovich made a shiva visit to the bereaved family of terror victim Shelly Dadon HY”D, who was brutally murdered in a terror attack in Migdal HaEmek last week. The minister stated that while most details of the case are still under a gag order, he anticipates breaking news in the very near future.

Economy Minister Naftali Bennett also made a shiva call and expressed his pain over the attack, explaining to the family that residents must be able to move about freely without fear of such heinous acts.

Finance Minister Yair Lapid called the family to apologize for being insensitive. Lapid came under attack for making a big splash over a sporting event on his Facebook page as the nation was burying the victim of the attack.

MK Eli Yishai, a member of the Knesset Foreign Affairs & Defense Committee made a shiva visit on Wednesday, 7 Iyar, telling the aveilim the government must restore Israel’s deterrence to attacks by acting as it should.
