Tragedy struck the chareidi community of Arad with the news that a young woman from the Gerrer community, Chana Sheina Barnet z”l was killed after being struck by a vehicle. The nifteres was married to Rav Simcha Bunim Barnet and she was the daughter of Rav Meir Yosef Hershkowitz.

The nifteres, in her 20s, was struck by a vehicle last Tuesday, 30 Nissan, as she was crossing Charuv Street in Arad. She was transported by helicopter to a trauma center. She was niftar on Monday morning, 5 Iyar.
