Councilman David G. Greenfield thanked the NYPD today for their swift action and response to the anti-semitic graffiti that was sprayed across Boro Park at over twenty locations over Shabbos/Saturday this weekend. Sources within the NYPD have confirmed to Greenfield that the suspect the police have in custody is a former NYPD officer.
Councilman Greenfield worked through the night in close communication with the NYPD, Shomrim and community leaders addressing this hateful act.
“I thank the NYPD for their swift action in this rash of disgusting hate crimes,” said Councilman Greenfield. I was out there last night with them until 3 AM and they were still working the scenes to try and apprehend the suspect. This is a testament to how seriously the NYPD takes hate crimes. The fact that the suspect is a former member of the NYPD is certainly shocking. However, it makes the NYPD’s quick response in apprehending and arresting him even more impressive.”

Make an example of this guy. Throw the book at him.
I agree make an example of him,but we all know it will not happen. But, if he was writing ani black graffiti they would hang him in the town square. With no trial ala the owner of the LA Clippers. Such is the life of the Jew in galus.
Yes let us throw dictionaries and other hard cover editions at this man
Can’t see why he is shocked. I’d venture to say that most of them are like that except that they fear losing their jobs and benefits more. This trash already quit the dept. and therefore took the opportunity to vent.
Chaimgold, what do you base that on? Plenty of people have been prosecuted for anti-semitic graffiti and attacks. Incidentally, the terrorists that targeted shuls in Riverdale were convicted. Maybe you need to look at your own anti-black racism. Be a mensch.
Galicianer- you are certainly right.
