When the children of a special education kindergarten in Modi’in Illit arrived for the resumption of school they were shocked to learn the facility was targeted in a Pesach break-in. A special device to assist children with limited hearing was stolen and the kindergarten was vandalized. Officials report the damage runs into the thousands of shekels.
Police were summoned and an investigation was launched by intelligence officer Avi Ben-Ami. Police have detained a number of minors, residents of the community, who they feel may be connected to the incident. Some of the minors questioned have connected themselves to the event. Additional arrests are expected.
Police recovered the stolen equipment and it was returned to the kindergarten.

These kids need drill sargents to straighten them out but that’s not going to happen because it would harm their siblings shidduch chances and god forbid it should be publicly known that not everyone can sit and learn…
