A total of 12 people were injured in a fire that broke out on erev Shabbos on the third floor of an apartment building on Palmach Street in Tiveria. Among the injured from smoke inhalation were four children and a policeman. Four of the victims were treated and released on the scene and the remainder was transported to Poriah Hospital in the city.

Ichud Hatzalah EMT Natan Tzadka reports “When I arrived on the scene two apartments were in flames. Thick smoke bellowed from the apartments. The victims were conscious when we began treatment. All the injured appeared to have sustained light injuries.”
