Deputy Defense Minister Danny Danon reiterated his threat, to break from the government if another terrorist prisoner release is approved. In his latest statement Danon told Israel National News that he is willing to pay the political price for his actions but he remains firm in his decision. He rejects the notion that Israel has to do anything more to satisfy demands put forward by PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen).

Danon is calling on Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to stand firm and follow his lead. He added the matter of a planned terrorist release is a test for Naftali Bennett and his colleagues of the Bayit Yehudi party. Bennett has already announced that if the release is approved, his party will break away from the coalition.
