A group of leftist anarchists calling for the recruitment of yeshivah bochurim protested outside Yeshivas Slabodka in Bnei Brak on Friday morning and made a racket with shouts and bicycle horns.
The noise was disturbing the bochurim from learning and they asked the protesters to leave, who impudently responded that they refuse to leave until the Rosh Yeshivah, HaGaon HaRav Dov Landau, come out and talk to them.
HaRav Landau was scheduled to leave for an emergency meeting of all Roshei Yeshivos throughout Israel – so the bochurim came up with a creative solution, which they implemented with the help of the police.
They approached the yeshivah’s cook, R’ Yossi Rosenfeld, an elderly man with a long white beard, who was busy preparing food for Shabbos in the yeshivah kitchen. At the request of the bochurim, he agreed to put on a hat and long coat and dress up as the Rosh Yeshivah and be escorted to the car waiting outside.
At the sight of the “Rosh Yeshivah” surrounded by his talmidim, the leftists blew their horns loudly, taking out their “ire” on on the leader of the yeshivah world. They then left the area, allowing HaRav Landau to safely leave to the meeting.

What a tzadik that cook is! To take upon himself the bizyonos for the sake of protecting the Rosh Yeshiva! Gevaldig!
What the Bochurim did not realize is that the protesters were former Bochurim dressed as Leftists.
🤣🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣😂😂
I am just laughing and laughing, all the most clever intelligence “educated” people wouldn’t be able to handle such a situation as clever, swiftly, and safely like these Yeshiva bachurim did.
Just goes to show what living and learning torah will do to a person EVEN on a physical scale, compared to “educated” people, that seem to as a result of their “education” and “wokeness” end up standing like the biggest bunch of fools with bike horns and megaphones.
I bet you now some Bachur shouted Haman before, why on earth would they make noise like that, when any other protest is held, however religious in whatever country, there is always a chant, slogan, song, either expressing their protest, or generally connected to the issue they are protesting, however these lunatic mental asylum seekers don’t have any such thing besides for making a racket like a toddler kicking his/her legs in a tantrum, because they DON’T HAVE A CAUSE.
Well done to the Bachurim! Great Idea!
A gantze Yahr Purim!!!!
I can here the anti yeshiva chevra now
“You see! This is the חכמה we need in the army!”
In the spirit of Adar! The smiles on the bochurim’s faces are just yummy!
@ Dr. E.,
Former bochurim? They are now married? Or perhaps they are those of your sort who were so in Yeshiva they did not even know what the RY looks like.
Perhaps the YWN editorial staff can study political science so that they have a better way to describe those who want yeshiva students drafted than “leftist anarchists”.
Leftists tend to be against the military in general, and against Israel fighting Arabs in particular, and anarchists tend to be against the government forcing anyone to do anything.
So in what sense are those who want the Israeli government to draft Yeshiva students to fight Arabs in Gaza either leftist or anarchist, let alone both?
Pure Yiddishkeit,
I hate to rain on your parade. But when Abraham Lincoln was going by train to Washington to be sworn in there were assassins waiting in Baltimore.
They had to get him on a train in Philadelphia without anyone knowing it was him.
So (being tall) they put him in a wheelchair and covered his legs with a blanket. He switched his stovepipe hat for a knit hat & had a shawl wrapped around him. There were no assigned seats but they convinced the conductor to let them have the last car for themselves because their “Invalid” brother (Lincoln) needed quiet to rest.
I know Buchrim are more “clever” & “intelligent” than everyone else but Alan Pinkerton (Non-jewish) of the famous Pinkerton Detective Agency beat your Buchrim by 163 years!
Was there a heter given for the גניבת דעת ?
The ends do not always justify the means.
I am not a posek but bnei Torah should ask a shaylah by daas torah before acting.
