President Trump made perhaps his harshest comments against Israel yet in an interview with conservative Hugh Hewitt, urging Israel to end the war quickly and admonishing them for being criticized as genocidal maniacs across the world.
“You’ve got to get it over with, and you have to get back to normalcy. And I’m not sure that I’m loving the way they’re doing it, because you’ve got to have victory. You have to have a victory, and it’s taking a long time,” Trump said.
Trump also defended comments he made to Israeli journalists, in which he said that Israel had to “finish up” the war already and that they are “losing a lot of support.”
“What I said very plainly is get it over with, and let’s get back to peace and stop killing people. And that’s a very simple statement. Get it over with. They’ve got to finish what they finish. They have to get it done. Get it over with, and get it over with fast, because we have to, you have to get back to normalcy and peace,” Trump told Hewitt.
“They’ve got to finish what they started, and they’ve got to finish it fast, and we have to get on with life,” he added.
“Israel is absolutely losing the PR war,” he continued. “And the other thing is I hate, they put out tapes all the time. Every night, they’re releasing tapes of a building falling down. They shouldn’t be releasing tapes like that. They’re doing, that’s why they’re losing the PR war. They, Israel is absolutely losing the PR war.”
Trump has failed to provide clear policies on how he would handle the Israel-Hamas conflict if reelected, despite repeated questions during his presidential campaign. Instead, he has only offered vague comments and criticisms of President Biden’s approach, while claiming that the October 7 attack would not have occurred if he were in office.

Trump is saying the world is watching and getting violent bec of Israel’s war taking so long, and Israel needs to do what they got to do and not take so long. He’s just giving them advice, not telling them not to fight Hamas or “turning on Israel at all

Trump only cares about one thing—Trump. He supported Israel because he thought it made sense for him strategically, and also because he was encouraged to do so by some of his close advisors (i.e., Kushner and Friedman). In any event, he now has a personal vendetta against Netanyahu for congratualting Biden when he won the election, so if Israel wants even a chance of support from Trump, Netanyahu has to go. And Netanyahu understand this very well, but will never voluntarily leave office because of his arrogance (and legal issues).
Trump already turned on the Free Syrian Army, the Kurds, and the Afghans. Why would people think that he wouldn’t turn on Israel? There are a lot of Arab voters in Michigan who passionately hate Biden for his support of Israel and Trump is catering to them. Without Michigan Trump probably can’t win.
I guess I’m turning on Israel too, because I say the same thing: Stop being afraid of Biden and by that Israel has an image of “killing people” for so many months. This could’ve been over by now.

To those that are considering to stay home on election day, takes this in mind : When Biden ( controled by Obama) turns on Israel he means It very seriuos. When Trump makes these kind of statments you should assume that elections are somewhere close. The day after election day we won’t hear anything of these kind of statements from Trump. It sounds to me like what he is saying is that in order to avoid more civilian deaths, Israel needs to “win” immediately. If you consider the war may actually include Iran (as if Iran hadn’t been involved), he is supporting the Israeli “right” (meaning, “right” of Likud) which favors a military solution.
Cf: the situation confronting the United States in the Pacific after V-E day, when the way to minimize civilian deaths, and losses of American and Japanese soldiers, involved massive escalation.

If you actually listen to the audio, it is very clear that Trump is pro Israel, and is telling them to stop tiptoeing around, and just get it done. He clearly tells them they need to do the entire job, they need to completely win, and they need to do it fast.
YWN’s headline is really not portraying the accurate truth, and i think they should post an apology and clarification.

Trump is clearly showing his support of Israel and is frustrated in how they seem to be hurting themselves with simultaneously using kid gloves in the war and also the filming of the bombings of buildings.
