Coney Island’s Luna Park has officially opened for the season.
Crews were wrapping up maintenance work Sunday morning and put the finishing touches on the new attractions in the theme park this year.
A new ride called Luna 360 spins riders 360 degrees, while shooting up 60 feet in the air.
And of course, the 86-year-old Cyclone is back.
The coaster has been getting new wooden tracks installed over the past three years.
What’s missing this year is the Astro Tower.
The defunct ride was demolished after it was seen swaying during the July 4th holiday weekend last year.
A couple blocks away, the Thunderbolt remains under construction.
The custom roller coaster is scheduled to open Memorial Day Weekend.
