An IDF soldier was injured in a stabbing attack at the Yitzhar Junction, near Huwara, in the Shomron on Tuesday afternoon.

The terrorist was neutralized by another soldier at the scene.

Initial reports said that the soldier was only mildly injured but it was later reported that he is in serious condition.

He was treated by MDA paramedics on the scene and evacuated to Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikvah.
