“Hooligans” is the term used by Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman on Tuesday evening to describe the Yitzhar residents that destroyed an IDF outpost near the community. The destruction of the outpost followed an IDF operation in the community in which a number of homes were destroyed.

Lieberman was harsh in his criticism of those responsible for the attack as well as residents that attacked IDF soldiers. He stated “they are not Zionists and not part of the national camp”, accusing them of harming the entire settlement movement with their unacceptable actions. The foreign minister called to bring those responsible to justice, adding “the legal system must prosecute those responsible to the fullest extent of the law”.
