It has been about a year since 4-year-old Adele Biton was gravely injured as a result of a rock-throwing attack in the Shomron. On Tuesday 8 Nissan 5774 her mother received a note in room 312 of Levinstein Rehab Hospital informing her that Adele must be out of the room by noon Wednesday or the hospital will take legal action.
Mrs. Edva Biton is 18 weeks pregnant and pleaded to permit Adele to remain in the facility for an additional four months or at least until her home is set up to accommodate Adele. “It is not humane to do this on erev yomtov” she stated. She explains “Six weeks ago we were supposed to be discharged from the hospital and they said she is not ready. How can we bring her home now? We must build a support system. We cannot bring home a girl who is minimally aware of her surroundings without making it accessible.” http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/news/headlines-breaking-stories/215784/who-will-care-for-terror-victim-adele-biton.html
She explains that together with her husband Rafi, they have been fighting the bureaucracy for over six months but nothing moves forward.
“My daughter is not a prime minister but Ariel Sharon lied in a hospital bed for eight years at our expense. This child was only given 24 hours to live and we see she is making progress, small steps towards rehabilitation. We have three other girls at home. It is difficult enough and our routine is not a normal one. Our family has been struck hard. By husband Rafi sleeps here every night. I have not worked in over a year, giving all my time and effort to my daughter”.
She adds that Health Minister Yael German has visited and told her “don’t worry”. She is not waiting for German to give an order that will permit Adele to remain in Beit Levinstein.
Officials in the hospital explain that Adele was to have been sent home a month ago and they continue to provide extensions. They add the staff in the facility is the best medicine has to offer and there is simply nothing more than can be done for Adele.

I would expect the mother to be delighted to have her daughter home for yom tov. If the parents cannot handle their children they should stop producing them.
