As far as I am aware, this is the hashkafa of nearly all chareidim and other fully Torah-committed Jews. I am assuming, however, that, in true Lubavich fashion – and don’t forget that i have had tons of experience with close Lubavicher family who have never stopped trying to “convert” and inculcate me, so I know what’s going on – you were taught by your teachers and mashpiot that only Lubavich feels this way.
