A military vessel capsized on Wednesday evening near an IDF base in the south.

Seven IDF soldiers were lightly injured in the incident.

The circumstances of the incident are being investigated. It is not yet clear what caused the vessel to overturn.

The IDF’s spokesperson stated that “seven IDF soldiers were lightly injured in a military accident on an IDF base in the south of Israel. The soldiers were evacuated to the hospital for medical treatment and their families were updated.”
