Defense Ministry officials are expected to begin negotiations with Yesha Council leaders regarding the removal of five outposts of the 26 Israel committed to remove in guarantees given to the US administration.

On Tuesday, the Supreme Court pushed off a hearing regarding Migron, officially categorized as an outpost, announcing it will be held in three months. Yesha officials have recently agreed to permit relocating Migron, but the residents would only leave their homes after an alternate site is selected and prepared. The 42 families and the Benjamin Regional Council rejected the deal endorsed by the settlement council.

In contradiction, Israel Radio reported on Tuesday that council officials deny any plans to enter into negotiations with the Defense Ministry in the near future.
