A tractor trailer overturned Wednesday morning on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway forcing the closure of all eastbound lanes at Atlantic Ave.

Traffic was being diverted at Hamilton Ave.

At least one lane was also closed on the westbound BQE through the area.

Motorists should anticipated heavy delays on the westbound lanes between the Manhattan Bridge and Atlantic Ave.

The truck flipped over at about 4:30 a.m.
