Zeh LaZeh Vocational Training & Fitness Center


zz.gifZeh LaZeh is an incredible organization founded and directed by the dynamic Rebbetzin Raizy Rottenberg, sister of the Toldos Aharon Rebbe, to help the many almonos  and yesomim of Eretz Yisrael cope with their hashgacha pratis  and circumstances.  To date, Zeh LaZeh has made a profound impact on the lives of 1,300 almonos of all ages and over 3,000 yesomim of all backgrounds.  

Zeh LaZeh is in the midst of completing its flagship program, the The Chaim and Fraida Sima Moskovits Vocational Training Center.  The over 4,050 square foot state of the art Vocational Training Center is located in the heart of Yerushalayim on Rechov Hanevi’im. The Center will serve as a major step in the rehabilitation of widows who have been thrust into the role of breadwinners.  According to the Rambam, the highest level of charity is to help those in need to become financially independent in a dignified manner. The Vocational Center will serve this lofty goal. The Center will offer courses and classes in a variety of fields such as technology, programming, software engineering, alternative medicine, secretarial skills, architecture, and interior design.  The facility will be professionally run by a skilled and knowledgeable staff, and will provide a superior educational experience for the many women who will benefit from its services. In addition, a Job Placement Division will facilitate employment opportunities that are enriching, financially rewarding, and meaningful.

This facility will also house the Zeh LaZeh Health and Fitness Center l’zecher nishmas Reb Naftali Bochner.  The Naftali Bochner Health and Fitness Center, will afford the often tense widows the benefits that result from regular exercise which plays an integral role in the physical and emotional well being of the almonos.

The combination of affording the almonos both physical and mental stimulation will enhance their current situation in life as well as to increase their eligibility for remarriage.

According to Shlomo Roth, Executive Director of Zeh LaZeh in New York, “We are delighted that so many members of our community recognize the significance of this vital cause, and especially the crucial need for the Vocational Training Center.  It is gratifying to see such a tremendous outpouring of chizuk and support.  The Center will truly help the almonos and yesomim of Eretz Yisroel in a very real and tangible manner.

The Chanukas Habayis of the Vocational Training Center will iy”h be held in Yerushalayim on Chol Hamoed Sukkos – the first yahrtzeit of Chaim and Fraida Sima Moskovits who were tragically killed in a car accident last Sukkos and it is l’zecher nishmasam that the Vocational Center has been named and dedicated.
