A French Jewish group said Thursday it is suing YouTube over a clip showing a host of Jewish public figures to the soundtrack of a pre-war anti-Semitic song.
The video posted on the U.S. site YouTube and its French rival Dailymotion shows a slideshow of more than 150 French politicians, TV stars, journalists, writers, philosophers, actors, singers and comedians.
It is set to the sound of a song recorded before World War II, called “Rebecca’s wedding,” which describes the guests at a Jewish wedding as dirty, rude and dishonest.
“We consider this video, though it names no-one, to be a photographic list of an anti-Semitic nature and therefore liable to criminal prosecution,” the head of the National Bureau of Vigilance Against Anti-Semitism (BNVCA), Sammy Ghozlan, said in a statement.
He said he filed suit against Dailymotion and the author of the video on Tuesday, and intended to take similar action against YouTube after discovering it too was hosting the clip.
The anti-Semitism bureau took legal action earlier this week after it found a Paris store selling T-shirts printed with the phrase “Jews forbidden from entering the park,” in German and Polish.

These anti-semitic stories are nothing new. Anti-semitic propaganda is all over the white power websites and all over YouTube, for a long time now. Do the editors of this site HAVE to drag all that stuff over here for us to read?

If produced in France, a French court could prosecute it. If produced in America, it might be possible to attempt to block it from being seen in France, but it is very hard to block specific content from a foreign country (even the “great firewall of China” has trouble). For anything produced in America, there is no remedy from American courts since American law tolerates “hate speech”

All we need to do is to get a bunch of clips showing various Moslem terrorists interspersed with photos of hiltler and his gang members. Under each Islamic murderer we write how many that bum killed and under each of hitler’s punks we write what they did. Have all of this shown while in the background you hear the Pope saying, “Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached.” Pope Benedict the 16th saifd that in Germany in 9/12/06 and the reaction from the Moslem world was wild. They were screaming and yelling and the usual. Now we see what they dislike and we can guess who put that video o Youtube. Why complain when we can fight?
