In a concerning development, the IDF reports that approximately 15 rockets were fired from Lebanon towards northern Israel, with the incident occurring approximately one hour ago.
According to the IDF, four of the incoming projectiles were successfully intercepted by the Iron Dome air defense system, effectively neutralizing the immediate threat. The remaining rockets struck open areas, causing no reported damage or injuries in the region.
In response to this rocket attack, the IDF has initiated artillery fire directed towards the source in Lebanon, as part of their efforts to address the security threat.
The IDF has indicated that they will release further information regarding the incident shortly, as they continue to monitor the situation.
Fortunately, there have been no reported injuries resulting from the rocket attacks on the Western Galilee. However, the ongoing security concerns have prompted additional measures in the region.
For towns located near the Lebanon border in northern Israel, gathering restrictions have been imposed. Outdoor gatherings are limited to a maximum of 30 people, while indoor gatherings are permitted for up to 300 individuals.
These restrictions are currently in effect until Thursday at 6 p.m. Given the persistent nature of the conflict, there is a likelihood that these measures will be extended further to ensure the safety of residents.
