The Home Front Command of the IDF has issued guidelines advising Israelis to prepare for a potential extended period of conflict by ensuring they have a supply of food and water sufficient for at least 72 hours.

With the prospect of war looming, they emphasize the importance of each family having adequate provisions, including water, food, medicine, and essential emergency equipment.

Furthermore, the directive recommends that individuals take the time to identify the nearest bomb shelter in their vicinity and ensure unobstructed access to it.

  1. This is simply NOT TRUE. During a TV interview, the Home Front Spokesman instructed as you reported. However, minutes later the IDF issued a statement saying that the Army has NOT issued any such directive. In an effort to not cause unnecessary panic please remove this false report!
