Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Friday was questioned by police for a fifth time, this time regarding the alleged multiple billing of airline tickets. The questioning session was scheduled to last for 2.5 hours.
Earlier in the week, a former senior aide to Olmert, Eldad Rothman, was questioned by police ‘under warning’. Rothman, who is married to Noa Ben-Artzi, a granddaughter of the late Yitzchak Rabin, was Olmert’s aide during his tenure as minister of industry & trade. He was ordered to house arrest following the questioning on Thursday.
