In his reference to the current government, MK Rabbi Yaakov Litzman stated that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is a liar for he sent emissaries to meet with Gedolei Yisrael Shlita, promising them there would not be criminal sanctions but at the end that is exactly what occurred. He called the government “a bunch of bluffers”.
He added “once upon a time it was known that only the finance minister was permitted to lie but today we seek that the prime minister may lie too”. Litzman stated the matter of criminal sanctions for failing to comply with the new draft law is just one aspect of the government’s lies and deceptions. He stated with confidence that nothing will come of the new draft law for he believes bnei yeshivos will heed to the words of gedolim and they will refuse to cooperate with IDF authorities.

Rabbi Litzman is bitter than he has been stabbed in the back. For years he, and his movements, have faithfully supported the zionists in return for some money and being allowed to be frum in peace. He should have listened to the gedolim who warned that zionism was inherently incompatible with Torah. Heck, he should have read Pirke Avos which warned about politicians.
MK Litzman been the same in every coalition. Shtick & more shtick, sometimes against settlers or charadim or poor . A different sector each time!
