Rocket fire from Gaza into southern Israel continued during the night. At least two additional rockets were fired. B’chasdei Hashem there was no loss of life or injuries. Despite the rocket fire, officials are reporting that schools in southern communities will operate today, Thursday, 11 Adar II.
IDF officials report that in response to the renewed warfare, 29 terrorists targets were hit during the night. This includes objectives in Khan Yunis and Rafiach. IAF helicopter gunships use machinegun fire against “suspicious movement” detected in areas of Gaza.
Senior IDF commanders including the chief of staff, his deputy, the southern district commander and chief of intelligence met on Wednesday night to assess the situation and these recommendations will be presented to the Security Cabinet which is convening in urgent session this morning.
IDF officials report that 60 rockets were fired at Israel last night and the Iron Dome successfully intercepted three rockets heading to populated areas.
After consulting with his senior command staff, Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon announced on Wednesday night that all Gaza crossings are being shut in response to the rocket fire. In addition, relatives of prisoners of Israel from Gaza will not be permitted to visit their loved ones until further notice.
Islamic Jihad commanders report that in actuality107 rockets were fired, marking the start of what it is calling Operation Breaking the Silence.
Military officials in Israel announced the IDF stands ready in the event there is an escalation in warfare. It is added the closure of Gaza crossings is significant move since Hamas receives most of its supplies via the Kerem Shalom Crossing, which remains shut at this time.

Everywhere u hit is a terrorist target. The whole Gaza is on big terrorist breeding ground. Even if u hit a rock which the terrorist sat on that’s a target.
We look at results, and the results are not good, which leads me to believe, that they are hitting bricks instead of flesh
