The new ‘Yesh’ supermarket chain serving the chareidi public is expecting to officially go live after Tisha B’Av after it swallowed up Aleph and Zol Po supermarkets. The new name in chareidi shopping is boasting 50 stores nationwide.
According to Itche Volkin, the general manager, the low prices that were synonymous with their predecessors will continue, but they plan to offer an increased selection of mehadrin hechsherim, and the stores will be placing an emphasis at faster new and improved checkouts to limit the long waits on line that was commonplace in the past.
