International runner Roman Spivak decided he needs something to compel him to compete as he prepares for the Paris Marathon. On Tuesday 2 Adar II close to 16:00, a group of runners arrived at the first stop of the Jerusalem light rail, the Mount Herzl stop. Heading the runners was Spivak, who was determined to beat the light rail on its 13km (7.8 mile) route.
Some of the competitors were on bicycles but Spivak was going to run against the light rail to its last stop in Pisgat Ze’ev. He arrived in 56 minutes, beating the light rail by 4.5 minutes.

This is not a chiddush… I’m not a professional runner, actually I’m very out of shape and I’ve beat the light rail numerous times.
