Two people are dead and four more were hurt following a serious car crash at the intersection of 65th Street and 18th Avenue, Monday afternoon.
Boro Park Hatzolah treated the injured, including two who were in traumatic arrest.
Sources tell YWN that a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed ran a red light and smashed into another car, sending both of them into pedestrians.
The driver was taken into custody by police on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to an NYPD spokesperson.
Video footage from a few blocks away shows the maniac driver barreling through another intersection at a high rate of speed, nearly plowing into other vehicles.
It did not appear that Chevra Kaddisha services were needed in this tragic incident.

Is Tehilim needed for anyone?
Too much unnecessary aggressive driving going on in BP
A serious commentary:
Answer this –
Where do yidden drive worse – in BoroPark or Monsey?
Enough!
This is not in BP proper. Granted the driving habits are not what they ought be but 65th street is quite a goyishe area.
Why does anyone assume the drivers were Yiddin? The cars involved are not typical of what Boro Park Yiddin drive. Judging from the damage one or both of the drivers far exceeded the speed limit of 25mph.
Guys, chill out !
18th Avenue and 65th Street is called Bensonhurst. It’s always been Bensonhurst and it will continue to be Bensonhurst.
For all you know there was an Italian involved.
Answer:
Crown Heights
Little early to be drinking, no? Oh, not for goyim.
Animal. I wish he would get the death penalty.
🕯🕯🕯 How is the 20 mile per hour speed limit working out 🕯🕯🕯
🚙
In Bensonhurst this is how they drive when they’re drunk.
In Boro Park they drive like this sober.
B”h it seems no yidden were involved but let us learn that dangerous driving is…dangerous and reckless and criminal. Boropark and Monsey drivers – pay attention.
this is why we need more red light cameras and speed bumps installed as speed kills.
